I have taken your number and I will call for future reservations. So thank you for short notice stay, in a place that was perfect. It was my husband and myself and we like our room and this was just what we wanted. Next to a creek so all wishes came true.

Sept 3 - 9 2010 R Place 2 Patricia   Just wanted to thank you for the opportunity for my family to experience your property. We had an AWESOME time!! We always do when we travel together, but the general consensus is that this is, by far, the best family trip we have had, hands down!!  We think the difference this time was just the location of the cabin. We loved the creek running thru the property. The kids loved trying to jump from one rock to another. The adults tried as well, bringing back childhood memories. We hiked the trail on the property. We laughed the whole way up the trail and was nicely rewarded with a MAGNIFICENT view of the mountains. We took many pictures. It was great for my nephews and niece to see nature like that. We talked to them about being able to get away from city life and enjoying nature and they are asking to return next year. They got a first hand feel of the mountain weather. It got pretty cold at night, but we were prepared.  There were great places to eat and we even went to a festival that was being held at a local camp ground. To top off the weekend, we went to a fire works display. I have not seen fire works in many years and I was just as excited as the kids were. I know this is a long email, but I just wanted to THANK YOU for providing us with a great weekend and many memories (and pictures).

The stay was absolutely amazing. Dave and Gladys were great and even went on some motorcycle rides with us. The cabins are both beautiful and accommodating. Thanks again for a great stay and we look forward to coming back soon!

We had a wonderful time.There were 13 in our group and there was room for everyone. We had snow so that made it even more special.The sound of the creek was wonderful. We can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy it!! Thanks for sharing. The location is ideal for skiing and the home had everything we needed. Very well equipped.

 We had a wonderful stay at your cabin in Maggie Valley over Christmas. The separation of space allowing the teenagers to be downstairs was great.  The kitchen was great for holiday cooking and the decorations appreciated.

R Place 2 Buddy & Donna North Charleston, SC We enjoyed staying at R place 2. Seeing it on the computer never seems to be quite the same as seeing it in person. Believe me, we were extremely pleased when we saw the real item. Your directions were great, the ride up to the house was very nice, and (other than the first "Dip") the driveway was perfect. You felt like you were totally alone and yet the road was right there. The place had all the necessities of home and we all felt very comfortable there. The house was perfect for our families. The layout gave privacy and yet unity. Needless to say, We all spent much time Watching the creek and relaxing on the porch. Yes, we are definitely planning on next year.
Jun 1st -Nov 1st 2008 R Place 1 Joan & Gordon Ocalla, FL We continue to get home and the weather is still unbearable. 5 months was much better except for the snow the third week in October. We will have to adjust our stay for next year.
Jan 24-25 2008 R Place 1 Carroll, Lindsey, Luke, Lawton & Joanna Greenville, SC We enjoyed the rustic cabin, especially the deer antler handles, as well as the curtain rods. Hearing the spring behind the cabin while relaxing in the hot tub was really awesome. The sink in the upstairs bathroom was really pretty. "R Place in the Smokies" was great and we look forward to coming back soon.  :)
Jan 1-5 2008 R Place 1 Mitzi & Kent Coral Gables, FL What a way to bring in the New Year. We had a Winter Storm which was a big deal for us, being from Miami. We couldn't have had a better trip. The cabin was beautiful, cozy & kept us warm. Thanks for being such a detailed person, it really shows you take pride in your vacation home. We hope to repeat this trip in the near future. Our girls are already asking us when we can return.
Dec 21-23 2007 R Place 1 Troy, Michele, Mackensie & Lauryn   We had a blast! Our first trip to the Smokies was truly a memorable one. The cabin provided the "at Home & Cozy" atmosphere we desired with Troy's 3rd safe return from Iraq. We are already planning a trip in the spring to visit Ghost Town and another snowboarding trip next winter.
Jun 15th Sept 15th 2004 R Place 1 Joan & Gordon Ocala, FL Once again what a great 3 months for 2004. Gladys and Dave's new Log Home is truly lovely. We enjoyed celebrating our two wedding anniversaries  together. What a relaxing area this is in the Smoky mountains.  God willing and the creek not rising we look forward to the same 3 months next year.
Feb 13-20 2004 R Place 1 Ron & Angeligue Myrtle Beach, SC We have really enjoyed our week here. It was also nice to meet you and be able to remember the faces of the people who have created this lovely getaway spot. There are so many nice touches in this place, from the herb prints in the Dining area to the great shower head downstairs, the interesting ceramic sink and of course the fireplace. So glad we were advised to go down into Cataloochee Valley and see the Elk. Met the viviting wildlife biologist's daughter who told us about the herd. Very Cool! We skied- the sun was warm- the powder ws fine. Had a great Time and hope to return. I'd love to try the day on horseback into the Park.

Mar 3-5 2003 R Place 1 Jeff & Joey Bellaire, MI Following a month long stay in Florida, fighting the traffic & crowds. My husband & I decided to stop here in the mountains.....Rest a bit..... attempt to envelope a bit of peace and solace. Well "R" Place delivered that to us and much more! The fresh mountain air brought about a relaxation in us that was much needed! After a fun day at the shops, the hot tub was a welcome site! As we lay our heads down at nightime fell...... the magical singing of the lively stream, Wased us to sleep. UUpon awakening in the morning, he Blue- Spirit filled mountains promised us anaother wonderful, mystical day here. Thank you "R" Place for the Peace & Solace!!
